Privacy Policy
Quadrance Capital Partners LLC ("Quadrance," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you visit quadrancecapital.com (the "Site"), subscribe to our newsletter, contact us, or otherwise interact with our online properties.
Please read this policy carefully. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect the information necessary to operate this Site, communicate with you, and improve our services. The categories of personal information we collect are:
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Newsletter subscriptions. When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address and a record of where the sign-up originated (e.g., the footer form, a landing page).
- Contact form submissions. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional company name, optional subject line, and the contents of your message.
- Direct correspondence. If you email us at info@quadrancecapital.com or otherwise correspond with us, we will retain that correspondence and the information it contains.
- Job applications. If you apply for an open role advertised on our Careers page, we will collect the information you provide in your application (name, contact details, resume, cover letter, and any supporting materials).
1.2 Information collected automatically
We operate self-hosted analytics — we do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising trackers. We record:
- The path of each page you visit
- The referring URL (where you came from), if your browser sends one
- Coarse geographic country (derived from IP address — we do not store the IP address itself)
- Device category (mobile / desktop / tablet), browser, and operating system as parsed from your User-Agent string
- A short-lived session identifier (a random string) used to group page views in the same visit
- The date and time of each visit
None of these analytics records are linked to your name or email. They cannot be used to identify you personally.
1.3 Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and equivalent storage strictly necessary for the Site to function — for example, to maintain your login session in the admin area and to issue the anonymous session ID described above. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To deliver the newsletter. We use your email address to send you the updates you subscribed to and, where required, transactional messages such as confirmation or unsubscribe links.
- To respond to enquiries. We use the information you submit through the contact form (or by emailing us) to respond, follow up, and maintain a record of the correspondence.
- To assess job applications. Materials submitted through our Careers page are used solely to evaluate your candidacy.
- To operate and improve the Site. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics help us understand which content is useful, identify broken pages, and prioritise improvements.
- To safeguard the Site. We use rate-limiting and basic abuse prevention to keep the Site available and secure.
- To comply with legal obligations. We may use or disclose information when required by law, court order, or other binding regulatory obligation.
3. Legal Bases (EEA / UK Visitors)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing your personal information under the GDPR / UK GDPR are:
- Consent — for newsletter subscriptions; you can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter we send.
- Legitimate interests — for replying to enquiries, securing the Site, and aggregated analytics. We have assessed these uses as proportionate and unlikely to override your rights.
- Performance of a contract — for processing job applications you submit to us.
- Compliance with legal obligations — when required by applicable law.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the limited circumstances below:
- Service providers. We use vetted third-party providers to deliver email (e.g., our SMTP / transactional email partner), host the Site, and operate our database. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual data-protection terms and only for the purposes we direct.
- Professional advisers. We may share information with our lawyers, auditors, and similar advisers when needed to receive their services.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, in response to lawful requests by public authorities, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
- Business transfers. If Quadrance is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership.
5. How Long We Keep Information
- Newsletter subscribers. Until you unsubscribe. After unsubscribing, we retain your email solely on a suppression list to ensure we do not contact you again.
- Contact form messages. Up to 24 months from the last correspondence, after which we delete them unless we are legally required to keep them longer or we are still actively assisting you.
- Job applications. Up to 12 months from receipt, after which we delete them unless you ask to be kept on file for future opportunities.
- Analytics records. Up to 24 months in granular form; older records are aggregated or deleted.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for any processing based on consent (such as newsletter subscriptions). This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
- Object or restrict processing — in certain circumstances, you may object to or ask us to restrict how we process your information.
- Data portability — request a machine-readable copy of the information you provided to us.
- Lodge a complaint — with your local data-protection authority (e.g., the ICO in the UK).
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@quadrancecapital.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
7. Notice for U.S. Residents
Depending on the U.S. state where you live (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah, or Virginia), you may have additional rights — including the right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
California residents may submit a verifiable consumer request by emailing info@quadrancecapital.com.
8. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, or access. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage of credentials, role-based access control for our admin tools, and routine security review. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Transfers
Quadrance is headquartered in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information during transfer.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services before providing them with your information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the latest revision took effect. If we make material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice (for example, by email to subscribers).
